Successful colour concept in vintage look

Kolatch is a Slovakian brand specialized in the production of high nutritional value “on the go” confectionary and desserts. For its product line of premium nut dessert creams intended for direct consumption using a very practical form of packaging, Kolatch chose aluminium tubes. The range is suitably named “Tuba” and is composed of eight different flavours to which three high-value protein dessert creams have been newly added. Thanks to their incredible properties, aluminium tubes represented the perfect combination for Kolatch of sustainable packaging with high nutritional value food. The tubes have a matt white base lacquer with trendy pastel colors printed onto the lacquer to give a combined vintage and prestige look required by the brand. For the individual flavours the main challenge was to achieve matt colours mirroring the matching shade as well as ensuring no variation in colour across the whole of the tubes’ print surface area. The visual appearance of the tubes in combination with the remarkable product idea impressively demonstrate the opportunities that the packaging material tube holds in store for the markets of the future with imaginative concepts and contemporary technology.
