Successful combination of sustainability, functionality and look

The Dove Hand Cream tubes are produced by EPL Europe. The collaboration between EPL, Dove and Unilever has resulted in an innovative and sustainable packaging solution. The Dove hand cream was produced in a sustainable mono-material tube made of Platina. The material allows for full recyclability and is an in-house development by EPL. The Slim Flip Top closure and slim shoulder save one-third of the material weight compared to conventional tubes (shoulder and flip top). The tube has a diameter of 40 mm and a length of 105 mm. It is printed using a flexographic printing process and finished with a matt and gloss varnish, which enhances the tube's appearance. The Dove Hand Cream laminate tube is an outstanding example of how sustainability and functionality can be combined.
