The “Lip Me Watermelon Dreamscreen SPF+50” aluminium tubes of the Australian brand Airyday, which has its headquarters in Sydney, are manufactured by Tubex. The product protects lips from harmful UVA/UVB rays whilst offering hydration and shine. However, protecting our planet is just as important to Airyday as protecting our skin. Therefore, Airyday uses TUBEX’s Blue Tube Evo material for its sunscreens and lip protection products. The tubes are made of 100% recycled aluminium with 95% PCR content. They support a closed packaging-to-packaging loop and significantly cut emissions. The lip balm tubes are coated with a semi-matt, transparent lacquer that lets the brushed aluminium surface shine through.
