Significant reduction of the amount of plastic

French brand Etat Pur chooses Albéa’s EcoFusion Top 50ml for the repack of its “Pure Skincare” range. Launched in 2011, the brand is characterized by biomimetic skincare products consisting of active ingredients that are identical to the composition of the epidermis and therefore perfectly adapt to all skin types. The innovative, high-quality and modern products are available on the market in various product lines. Etat Pur has embarked on a mission to reinvent all of its Pure Skincare packaging made of daily moisturizing and cleansing products with eco-design principles, aiming to make them recyclable while lowering plastic consumption. In this innovation process, the choice fell on Albéa’s EcoFusion Top combined with a Thin-Wall 350µm sleeve. This leads to a reduction of the amount of plastic used by 54% compared to the previous 50ml tube and by 82% compared to the 40ml airless bottle. Moreover, the tube consists of mono-material HDPE and is therefore recyclable in the HDPE stream. Three references are already available, and more will be rolled out progressively until the middle of this year.
