Sustainable tube concept with a colourful appearance

For the broad toothpaste portfolio from Dr. Bauer’s, Neopac’s unique PICEA™ tube in combination with digital printing was used. The PICEA™ material contains spruce wood, which affects the haptical appearance of the tube surface and makes it feel slightly rough. The material is made of over 95% renewable resources and has a more than 40% better CO2 balance compared to a conventional PE tube. The digital printing added flexibility to the more than 20 different artworks with which different consumer segments are addressed. With the possibility to print more detailed and realistic images the printing fits ideally to the print image. Currently, besides the product ranges “Fruits of Love”, “First Love” and others following soon, the colourful “Lovely Friends” toothpaste tubes are launched and available on the market. They are characterised by an extremely successful and lively colour concept, attention-grabbing in the appearance of the individual tube, but at the same time extremely coherent and thus sustainable across the entire range.
