CurlyEllie, a family owned and run business in Kent, is one of the fastest growing hair care brands in the UK dedicated to curls. The collection is inspired by the owner’s daughter, Ellie who suffered from eczema and hyper-sensitive skin. ‘Kind to hair, skin, and planet’ is one of CurlyEllie mantras. This means being kind to the planet not just with her ingredients, but also with her packaging. The company takes great care in ensuring that her ingredients are sourced in an ecologically conscious way and take the same pride and approach to her packaging. For their Intense collection, they used recycled PCR eco-friendly packaging to bring out the beauty of nature and natural ingredients. With intricate detailing, showcasing designs that included curls, exciting ingredients found in the products, clear text and high-resolution imaging, the tubes are able to bring the brand’s messaging to the forefront. The logo in the centre of the tubes is delicate yet visually outstanding, framed by the extremely successful stylised curls on the matt tube. The smooth and silky overall appearance also played a major role in the final tube to bring home the excellence of the Intense Hair Gel.
