Reducing the weight and fully recyclable

For the packaging of its Baume Lavant Surgras, the French brand Yves Rocher has opted for Albéa Tubes´ latest innovation in sustainable development. The combination of the EcoFusion Top, a single-component open-and-close system, and an extruded PE tube does not only lead to a significant reduction in the tubes’ weight but also ensures that it is ready for recycling. The tube features a 350-micron PE sleeve combined with the EcoFusion Top, cutting the use of fossil-based plastic in the tube by over 50% compared to the standard tube. Made entirely of PE, the tube is fully recyclable within existing HDPE bottle recycling streams. However, the tube is not only environmentally friendly, but also visually very appealing. It is printed using PrimePrint, one of Albéa´s advanced printing technologies to create vivid, attractive, and colourful illustrations. With this innovative tube packaging, Yves Rocher reaffirms its commitment to more sustainable everyday packaging solutions.
